MSCA’s 2022 Recognition Gala – Photo Gallery and Information

We would like to thank all who attended MSCA’s 2022 Annual Recognition Gala which was held on Friday April 8, 2022.

Congratulations MSCA’s Maryland School Counselor of the Year, Brian Stewart (Catonsville High School, Baltimore County), MSCA’s Elementary School Counselor of the Year for Maryland, Lori Counsell (Mays Chapel Elementary School, Baltimore County), and MSCA’s Middle School Counselor of the Year for Maryland, Rebecca Krauss (Thurmont Middle School, Frederick County). We would also like to congratulate the following, who were honored at the 2022 Recognition Gala:

 

  • Administrator of the Year, Dr. Dorothea Fuller, (Principal, Galway Elementary School, Montgomery County Public Schools)
  • Advocate of the Year, Kimberly Ferguson, (Director of Student Support Services,  Baltimore County Public Schools)
  • School Counselor Educator of the Year, Dr. Gretchen Foust, (University of Maryland Eastern Shore)
  • Graduate Student of the Year, Kate Rebman, (University of Maryland Eastern Shore)
  • Karen Cunningham of Edgewood Elementary School (Hartford County Public Schools) for the development, management, implementation and evaluation of a Recognized ASCA Model Program. 
  • Simon Briggs, Lauren Hanley, Courtiney Jacobs, Michele Petras, Carly Raley, and Svetlana Wright of Towson High School (Baltimore County Public Schools) for the development, management, implementation and evaluation of a Recognized ASCA Model Program.
