Biography: 
Dr. Catulle just retired from a 30+ year career as an Elementary School Counselor in Frederick County, Maryland and she excited to bring her experiences to Hood as the Director of the School Counseling Program in hope that Hoods students can get an inside view of what it is like to be a school counselor and to make a difference in the lives of others! She has served on the MSCA board for over 20 years in a variety of positions and enjoys networking with other school counselors throughout our great state.  Her doctoral dissertation was on the Psychological Benefits of Laughter for School Counselors at Work and Beyond and she hopes to share joy and laughter with other school counselors.

On a more personal note, she is married to my husband, Scott, and together we have four grown children (Riley-age 27, and Dylan-age 25, Katie-age 24, Kelli-age 22). She is in the process of changing her name from Dr. Jones to Dr. Catulle, so if you see her referenced by either name, please know they are one in the same. She comes from a large ethnic family (Lithuanian and Italian) and tries to preserve a level of “closeness” with them even though many live in other states. She loves to exercise, travel and explore new places. And, she is a cancer survivor!

Position Details: 
The Immediate Past President performs the duties of the president in the absence or incapability of the president. The immediate past president serves as chairperson of the Nominations and Elections committee and assume such other responsibilities recommended by the president and approved by the majority of the Executive Board. In the event the president resigns or is unable to complete the term, the immediate past president shall assume the position of president until the next election.
